Singapore Botanic Gardens are the first parks my mum took me to visit when I was a toddler. Having my first connection with beautiful tropical horticulture in that young age left a forever love in me for nature. Botanic Gardens have a special place in the memory of countless Singaporeans and visitors, providing pleasure, shelter, education and a close encounter with nature. The gardens have a heritage going back beyond Singapore’s founding, and are fully deserving of the UNESCO World Heritage Site status. This design pays homage to charm of the gardens and the colours they leave in all our memories.
