Having my first connection with beautiful tropical horticulture in that young age left a forever love in me for nature. Botanic Gardens have a special place in the memory of countless Singaporeans and visitors, providing pleasure, shelter, education and a close encounter with nature. The gardens have a heritage going back beyond Singapore’s founding, and are fully deserving of the UNESCO World Heritage Site status.
