Changi Airport Adds Warmth To Visitor’s Lounge With Singapore Designs

We are so happy to be given a tour of the new Transit Co-Working Lounge at Changi Airport Terminal 2!

For a touch of local vibe, our velvety Kueh Tile fabrics and Peranakan Tile wallpapers were selected for this project. The Kueh Tile fabric design showcases Singapore’s favorite cakes and desserts, such as  kueh tu tu, pineapple tart, kueh dar dar, peng kueh, ladoo, dumpling, and otah-otah. The Singapore stories behind these wallpaper and fabric designs will add a touch of warmth for Singaporeans using the lounge.

We can feel upclose the airport team’s effort in elevating passengers’ experiences and breaking new ground in all aspects’ of sensory treats for visitors. The airport team even customised Orchid tea fragrance that’s diffused at various corners in the airport!
