Beach, sun and sand! This is my favourite park to unwind with a bicycle and my furry kids. It is also the start of the park connector to Marina Barrage, Gardens By The Bay and Marina Bay Sands, and the perfect place to experience Singapore’s island feel, connect with nature, catch sunrise and sunset, or simply savour the wind in your face. Opened in 1972, this is the largest park in Singapore built on reclaimed land, and holds precious memories for many Singaporeans of weekend holiday at the chalets, overnight camping or happy seaside barbeque with family or classmates.
